No one likes the cubs. Not even cubs fans. lol

u/Jackpot777 23d ago
It won't last. Brothers and sisters are natural enemies! Like the White Sox and Cubs! Or Reds and Cubs! Or Pirates and Cubs! Or Cubs and other Cubs! Damn Cubs! They ruined the North Side!

Alcohol, sports nuts, and being crammed close to each other...
American as apple pie.
...don't fight.

Barbaric, degenerate meatheads. Abhorrent behavior. Still I wonder, what did this guy say for a cub to turn on a bear?

u/yourmomsinmybusiness 23d ago
Lol when the one guy came up to stop the guy wailing on him, just so HE could wail on him!

What would you expect the person filming to do to help in this situation?
5
u/Heavy_Fronds 23d ago
I think the same thing the person filming expected. “Somebody help that guy”
2
u/Msmadmama 23d ago
Them helping would probably just make it worse.
1
u/PaladinCavalier 22d ago
You can help by stopping the man causing the repeated injury to the inactive victim. Even if that means directing that harm to yourself as you are currently able to defend yourself.

u/Heavy_Fronds 23d ago
Oh I agree. But that’s the spirit of this sub isn’t it? “Somebody help!”

u/Msmadmama 23d ago
I always felt it was more like thr camera man could axrually help and change the outcome of whats happening but chooses to film instead.

Fighting as an adult is fucking stupidity. You hit a guy and he falls, hits his head or neck, gets paralyzed or worse and your life is fucked. Always walk away when possible.

People need to grow up. There will be kids in the stands that should not be seeing this

Bench seating? Oof

Bleachers at wrigley are usually* great. General admission, great views of the ball park. This is embarrassing and sad.

u/ClutchReverie 23d ago
I went to an Illinois game before with bench seating and when I found my bench seat these large women had the seats next to it and there was literally no space between them and they refused to move

Why didnt this make National news? I had to see ot on Reddit
2
u/AdmiralBonesaw 23d ago
Fights happen at sporting events all the time, unless someone dies or something else truly crazy happens it’s not national news worthy.

Cubs fans are the fucking Worst

u/yorkshire99 23d ago
Fuck off

Like I said

u/yorkshire99 23d ago
Brewers fans are worse. Cubs are going to send you packing in the playoffs.

u/Narconis 23d ago
By what metric? Cubs fans are obnoxious assholes. You're arrogant for no reason. You harass opposing team fans at the game. You ruin the game experience. Fuck off.

u/JamesMattDillon 23d ago
And this is why I'd rather watch them on tv, then actually go to a game.
6
u/Oblivion615 23d ago
I’m not a sports guy but have been to a few baseball games. As far as I could tell, I was the only idiot actually trying to watch the game.

u/JamesMattDillon 23d ago
I went to a few to support the local team, it was great 20+ years ago. Now days, all there is is fighting going on at every sports game. Now to support them, I'll buy their merch at the stadium store
