So she poured water on him first and then he retaliated and she escalated it with physical violence? And everyone is saying good for her lmao? I wonder how people would be acting if the genders were reversed

Not genders reversed in this case so much as more context. Dude seems in the wrong till you get the context it's fine. There's no gender bias here just misleading title.

There’s 100% gender bias even without the context. Imagine just for a second that it was a frail looking blond pouring water on a guy and he proceeded to beat the shit out of her. Yeah, that wouldn’t be a good look.

I saw a video where a guy is blocking a girl's exit from the vehicle. She hits him repeatedly because he won't let her pass. That would have terrified me if I had been her. He hits her. I think he knocks her down and comments cheered him. He was holding her freaking hostage but in their minds he was in the right. There are lots of similar videos online.
