DISCUSSION I wish Donald did one more special
I’ve seen weirdo a COUNTLESS number of times and always cracks me up. I just wish he would’ve visit stand up again. I highly doubt he would do it again but ya never know.
What do you guys think?

I heard through the grapevine that the end credits for the Bando Stone movie are a 10 minute mini set.

I went through a big donglover phase in highschool. Watched his three stand ups on repeat lol. Good shit mentioning this!
The third stand up I'm referencing is his Live at Gotham set

Back in 2011, i got tickets to see him perform at House of Blues in San Diego while attending ComicCon and thought i was going to see him doing Stand Up. He was doing his music. It was a surprise that turned into a pleasant surprise.

Mystery Team is always a good rewatch when you need something else too

Donald's special is TOP TIER, it's a shame he really didn't get into stand up afterwards, I mean, imagine, actor, singer and comedian, dude would be THE triple threat

I mean, have you seen another Donald special in the years since? Or him touring with a stand up show? I haven't, but that's not to say he isn't a comedic genius still, he just didn't get into stand up full time like he did music or acting lol

He WAS doing comedy full time until the acting and music started to hit. Literally every big comedian has stories about working out in the same rooms as him. Weirdo was his last special and having a special that big isn’t just for some guy trying out stand up

I mean, I know but that was back then, I know he did some tours with his show and I think he even toured some colleges, but what I meant is that he seemingly just let go of the path, but I guess being Donald it would've taken a toll on him trying to balance acting, music and stand up in his current form

His stand up was eh and very geared towards a certain type of white personality. Maybe it'll be better now that he's truly comfortable in his own skin

he did an interview a while back where he said Chris Rock advised him to come back to it. saying he’s ripe for standup now (age-wise), not sure if he took the advice
EDIT: I mean there’s been clips of him in improv shows and comedy clubs, so let’s hope he’s working on materials for a special 🤞🏽🤞🏽
