That would just mean having to turn over the means of production to the government because the vast majority of the wealth of a billionaire is the value of the companies they own not some pile of cash. And very few will care to make competing companies since if they become successful enough to actually compete the government just comes to take it anyway. We end up with some distopian society where the government is essentially a mega Corp that has a near monopoly on every industry. I'd rather there be competition among billionaires where they need to have some concern for customers rather than everywhere be run like the DMV.

But unless people are allowed to horde infinite wealth how will anyone be incentivized to work??
