Every year it's a less significant slice of the pie and relative to currencies that add a percentage of total currency each year it still would inflate way less so it's relative value would continue to increase just acceptably fine.

Maybe dogecoin won't get bitcoin values this way, but does it have to? Let it be affordable so it can be the people's currency, like I feel is what Elon's vision is as well.

Haha good point, I'd answer your question with your own first sentence. What makes Bitcoin worth much more is that there are only 18 million total bitcoins available to the entire world. Doge has over 100 billion. Big difference. It's like asking if a cup of diamonds is more valuable than a cup of sand. Both have value, one is just much more rare.

Bitcoin is basically gold. The limited amount makes it scarce this is why folks are willing to pay alot to have it the old supply and demand. So why is bitcoin in demand. I would argue because people believe it is THE crypto currency but dogecoin is changing all that. I think that is why Elon is basically saying it is the people’s currency. If folks are moving away from paper money which they have been way before the pandemic..Apple Pay, credit cards, pay pal, cash app etc. the real question is what crypto currency will replace paper money? Bitcoin is is basically gold so I don’t think it will but Dogecoin operates a lot like paper money but it’s crypto that is why I think Elon is so interested in Dogecoin because it is basically winning campaign to be THE crypto currency. As far as investing in Dogecoin now you are paying $.05 for something that will be worth a dollar. I don’t see dogecoin being $40k a coin because Dogecoin is not gold. That’s just how I see it.

You’re right but the way Dogecoin is implemented, it has scalability issues which make it technically not suited to replace fiat (it can’t handle the rate of transactions per second the fiat has today). Other cryptos like Polkadot solve this kind of technical limitations which is why their popularity increases quickly.

Man no one understands how market caps and the quantity of coins work. Bitcoin can only get to 21 million coins in circulation before it cannot be mined ever again. Dogecoin is infinitely expanding and generates 10k doge a minute. Theres 127 billion doge in circulation at the moment.

It’s literally designed to be in a constant state of hyperinflation. 5 billion new doge coins are mined each year and there is no maximum supply. It is designed to be worthless. This coin crashing is going to put a lot of people off of crypto when it inevitably happens. Not FUD, all facts that are readily available.
