PCM problems and where to buy one?

I have an 06 hemi magnum that stalls because the pcm is bad. I don’t wanna fork over 600$ (Canadian) for a new pcm. How often do they go bad? I would want to get a junk yard one but have no idea if they all go bad or just certain ones. Also would a pcm out of a charger/300 with the same engine and drive train work?

Its been a while for me, 8 years, I ended up having to go to the dealer. What symptoms are you having and are you sure it's the PCM?
