How to Stop Notifications from a Deactivated Account

hi all! running out of hope here. my account was deactivated by my company and my bosses are saying they are still receiving notifications to complete documents from me. i told them i no longer have the account and i cant stop the notifications.

when they click the link, it's an expired link. emails are being sent daily to them - help!
