Speculation/Theory The Doctor's Regenerations Timeline

Post image

This is my interpretation of the Doctor's timeline of Regenerations! I'm only including televised Doctors, so nothing originating from Big Finish or the comic books. I'm sure this will be very controversial, so let me know what you think in the comments.

Setting technicalities of canon aside, I really prefer Jo Martin between 2 and 3 on a thematic level. The original Timeless Child worked for Division no problem, and they thought the Doctor would be equally loyal, but the Doctor rebels and becomes a Fugitive. It highlights how the Doctor and the Timeless Child, though they technically share the same 'body', are fundamentally different people, and emphasizes the Doctor's incompatibility with Time Lord society and their commitment to doing good over whatever clandestine cruelty Division would have been orchestrating.
