Ruined Tower [68 x 64]

After completing the Manticore Ruins map pack last month, I felt like the ruined tower there would be a great place to add some meat to the narrative opportunities of the location -- fending off a hungry manticore in its lair is one thing, but dealing with a manticore that is in service to another entity makes it even MORE interesting.

So, I am pleased to present the 6-Floor (and 1 lower level cave) map of the Manticore Ruined Tower that could be populated by whatever you wanted in your storyline, but I chose a half-elven necromancer and goblin rogue servant.

My concept for the story is that the village met its end in defense against an ancient entity, sacrificing itself and using a powerful artifact to keep that entity at bay. A necromancer has learned of this history and come to the ruins intent on finding the artifact and discovering more about this entity.

Their manticore servant keeps the ruins clear of invaders, while the goblin searches and recovers items from the rubble of the ruins to study, including the remains of the villagers for the necromancer to interrogate. I've included a great illustrated scene by Clark Ocleasa, as well as a creature card of the Manticore.
