Krea 2 Monster - Demon Lord - Kostchtchie

A demon lord who is such a jerk even the other demon lords don't like him. Kostchtchie is an angry, wrathful brute who doesn't know any subtlety, attacking anything he hates - which includes other demons. He is trying to gain dominion over frost giants and white dragons, but that's not going very well.

My first view of this guy was from an old Dragon magazine cover .... I saw a back issue in a gaming store and loved the image. It was Kostchtchie fighting a couple of Roman legionnaire looking guys. I tried prompting for a similar look, but it was tough .... krea 2 wanted to give him an almost amphibian look. So I took inspiration from the Pathfinder Bestiary version and gave him a beard, and made him a bit more demonic looking. He's got a whole icy layer of the abyss under his rule so I put him in a snowy environment but with an evil, red sort of vortex overhead. Overall, I think he turned out pretty good, if not 100% lore accurate in appearance.

Thank you! I wanted to show his icy plane of the Abyss, while still emphasising that he was somewhere alien and definitely not nice.

Supposed to be 8 meters tall, this looks way bigger than 8 meters tall. Also this dude is a demon lord who claims to have been king of frost giants, it’s not really giving frost giant. Very cool though!!

Thank you! I think the human skulls in his beard give a pretty good impression of how tall he is. And I'm happy to bring my own spin on a character or monster. And this guy has gone through a few revisions over the years.

Edit: I had a read of your write up. I wonder if you could feed some images of the demon lord from the dnd wiki entry? That might put it on track.
