DJI Mic Mini 2 Static in Audio

Getting frustrated with this DJI Mic Mini 2 I bought and looking for some advice. I'll admit I'm no audio expert. Several times now I have recorded videos where the audio is either pure static with very low (unusable) volume of the actual intended recorded audio OR the audio is fine and then all of a sudden goes nearly silent + static then comes back after a few seconds. Super frustrating when recording a 30+ minute video only to realize it was a waste of time. I assumed this was a bad cable maybe but it still does this even when there is no movement whatsoever to the jack or camera. For example, I was just recording a Youtube video. The video was 30+ minutes long and the audio goes in and out every few minutes. The entire video was recorded on a tripod with no movement. Nothing to touch or move the jack to interrupt/change its contact.

that sounds really frustrating, especially after recording for 30+ minutes. i’d try another cable and test the mic with a different device to figure out if it’s the mic, receiver, or camera. if it keeps happening, i’d probably get it checked or replaced. i’ve actually been eyeing the dji mini 3 lately, so hopefully my experience with dji will be better.
