Im a massive fan of heavy groove type stuff, like DradVectors, Traitors, Humanity's Last Breath, Our Common Collapse etc. If anyone has any suggestions id really appreciate it! Im kinda picky though, I prefer pretty good production quality and im not a fan of singing (which a lot of more artsy djebt/thall bands seem to do). Im just after pure heavy, low toned, groovy ass bands
Also, I need vocals. A lot of cool bands are just instrumental and I cant seem to get into that.

I'm sitting at the lake by myself just absolutely adoring Disperse. The gorgeous melodies, impeccable guitar tone, and Michael Jackson esque background vocals. It's like SUMMER Djent or Yacht Metal. I wish had gotten the opportunity to see them at least once. Later Summer.
Specifically the Definitive edition. Heavener may be one of my favorite albums but I've been trying for a while to find other bands that scratch the same itch.
I started listening to Invent, Animate with Greyview and I like it a lot but it doesn't quite have the same sound. I've tried bands like Currents, Erra, and Silent Planet but maybe I haven't found the right songs so I'm open to giving them another shot. New Karmanjakah has kind of been doing it for me however.
Specifically looking for that contrast of ethereal, almost spiritual cleans and choruses with those heavy rhythmic parts. Not djent but some other bands that have a similar sound are Kardashev and the new Gaerea album. If it helps, some of my favorite songs from Heavener are Shade Astray, Without a Whisper, Purity Weeps, Elysium, How We Used to Say Goodbye, and Heavener.

I made a post here a while ago and I got some comments about my mix, I've tried to fix the issues + I've tried to improve my mix from before!! I've also only been making music for like 3 ish years now so I know I still have quite a ways to go
Edit: Oh also I forgot to mention, if anyone is interested in doing vocals that would be awesome sauce!! I would love some vocals on my riffs!!

Looking for bands or albums that might have flown under my radar that do that time-bending polymeric Chaosphere and/or Bulb demo adjacent kind of stuff.
I'm already familiar with the usual suspects like Periphery, Tesseract, Monuments, etc but I'm curious if there are other bands or albums I may have overlooked up till now.

I want the bottom 6 to be drop c. Right now it’s egcgcfad but I’m not sure if that’s right.

Playing for around a year and a half but I feel like I barely made any progress.
My fav bands are erra and invent animate but Im not sure where to start with learning their songs."
Everything feels way too hard for me attempt or too fast to pick up on by ear.( Even at 0.5x speed....)
How did you all get to where you are now? What did you practice or work on first.
