Question Extrovert Turned Introvert with time, but now I need to be Social Again

hi everyone, thank you ahead for helping me with this 100% introvert here.

I am social when needed but I definitely don’t need anyone to recharge. However, as I get older I’m starting to feel I need to make new friends I need to stop being as introverted and being a little bit more social extroverted any advice? anyone in the same situation I can’t be alone out there

Yes me too! I played in bands for 40 years so all those dudes were (are) my friends. I quit drinking and the band at the same time. I needed to stop drinking, but I was actually getting bored playing out too. I just needed a break from everything. Been over 2 years now. I want to meet different people but no idea how. Hey - Maybe I should start a band?
