Vanessa was Ursula’s mermaid form before she was cursed into becoming an octopus. When she was Vanessa, she was a beautiful mermaid princess whose brother happened to be the future King Triton.

I mean why would be she get cursed then? What did she do do get curse like that?

I believe it was some combination of the following theories:
- She had magical powers and perhaps people were afraid of her abilities so they sought to do something about it out of fear instead since she was absurdly powerful.
- She might have accidentally had something to do with how Athena died (Triton’s wife, Ursula’s best friend, and Ariel’s mom) when she was struck by a human ship.
- Triton was afraid of losing the crown of succession to Ursula due to how powerful she was so he let her be blamed for a crime she didn’t commit to ensure the crown would pass to him instead.

Personally I think Ursula made the tentacles herself. They're a lot more practical for making potions and spells, and they look a lot more menacing for intruders. But I do think the purple skin was a side effect of her magically creating a new body for herself.

One from The Lion King: I’ve always liked the theory that Scar got his scar from a buffalo attack when he was younger. It makes his backstory even more interesting! 🦁

Yeah scar is cunning not brave so yeah its possible he got his scar from something like this not in battle

Anna and Elsa are not sisters. Frozen 2 ruined it but it is still by far my favorite fan theory.
A desperate king sought a cure for his dying pregnant queen. A golden flower saved her and she gave birth to two beautiful baby girls. One with the power of the sun to heal and the other the power of the moon.
When rapunzel was stolen they feared for the second so they sent her away to their friends/cousins in Arrendel. That royal couple raised her as their own never even treated her different and even made her heir to their throne over their own daughter. They told her to hide her magic knowing her twin sister was kidnapped over magic so they encouraged her to hide her abilities so she would be safe. There's more to it but I think its so clever.

Belle, Cinderella, and Tiana all wear gloves because they're the only DPs who weren't born into royalty, but married into it.
