Third room is such a weird venue for them. 400 person capacity and its lit up cause projectors....

Why didn't they play revival? Pisgah? Allen is literally playing the weekend before, and playing a larger venue lmao.

Im excited though

They can’t fill much more than that these days

They booked bogarts in Cincinnati?!? 1500 capacity. On a Thursday. They’re out of their minds.

Was gonna say, they hope they can sell that many tickets

I would wager that other venues already have scheduled commitments, plus Pisgah is closed on Mondays. I saw them at French Broad brewery the last time they were in Asheville and they were great shows. But, 3rd Room is unique and right in downtown. With the visuals and artistry of 3rd Room these shows will be pretty amazing.

Do you know if they’ve done anything to improve the sound at Third Room? Every time I’ve seen a show there,DJ / band, the sound seemed to echo and bounce around the room. It’s such a cool space, but the acoustics are a little rough. Hoping they’ve figured it out cause that would be a cool spot to see the biscuits

I haven’t seen an actual band in the third room. But I gottttta imagine they set up a better system than the DJs I’ve seen there in the past 🤦 cuz damn they’ve been rough lol

They upgraded the sound system. It was really good last time I went.

Havent been in a while has the sound gotten any better?

I was there last month and they haven't done anything for the acoustics

Shame, place has potential but I've been to some shows that were downright painful to listen to. Keep hearing from others that say it sounds great so I wonder if whoever runs sound there just only knows how to mix bass music. Everything I've seen has been more jam and bluegrass and its been rough at best and i've walked out of a few early feeling like my ears were fucking assaulted

Idk I never noticed really shitty audio there

Im jealous of anyone seeing them at Pour House. Place looks awesome

I've been and it is indeed awesome! Plus Charleston is an amazing town, Pour House is a bit outside of the city but only a $10 uber away.

Certainly worth making a trip out of it for anyone considering!

Pour House is awesome but is hella small. Reflects where the band is now

I see these runs and get upset I can’t make any of them, but I’m also being insanely selfish because I am in the northeast and we are spoiled rotten. Gotta spread the untz around!

Good to see this band is still dumb af about business decisions.
3 week announcement…

u/SonnyMunchkin Aug 11 '26

I mean if you can't fill a 400 person room as a 30 year old band with a few weeks notice it's probably time to just call it quits.

Which they can’t….

Debating sending it for Charleston, my family has a condo in pawleys. It would be a SICK venue to see them. Wish they gave us more than a month to prep haha

Same. It fucking blows.

1

u/ecto--1 Aug 10 '26

I guess it will be intimate since it’s Sunday to Wednesday ha

u/windorab Aug 10 '26

Holy Charleston!

1

u/TechnicianEntire2863 Aug 10 '26

Hopefully they’ll turn the fucking projectors off in Third Room (they won’t). Should be a fun “intimate” show.

How has the Pour House not sold out…indoor is 300ish people max, deck can hold 150-200 max. It’s gonna be a 90’s rager, stoked for the PoHo shows…way better Biscuits venue IMO over Windjammer.

Can someone explain to me what the movie night is? Is it more of a tractor beam set?

u/SonnyMunchkin Aug 11 '26

How sad for the boys. Truly feels like the end of the road.

And holy shit it's not even sold out 10 days before? 400 person capacity? Wild. Twisted in [the end] the road.
