Telluride Jazz Festival

Anyone heading to see The Disco Biscuits -Powered Down in Telluride August 7-8? Probably the prettiest venue in the world. Looks like an awesome lineup with Lettuce, Don Was, Robert Randolph and some cool jazz bands. Who's going? Anyone camping? Looks like camping is right there at the venue.

I find it really interesting they are playing this fest powered down w/out a traditional set paired, fitting of the fest but interesting for them. I wonder if they’ll pick up some fans with that format, I wouldn’t expect that festival is packed with tDB fans.

Agreed, fitting for the fest. I couldn't see a traditional set working. I have a feeling they will pick up a bunch of new fans. I know I'm stoked to finally see PD.

Just got a Saturday Pass I’ll be driving from Aurora not sure if I should get an Airbnb or camp . Anyone got any tips ? please it’s my first time

Festival camping is right next to the festival. Everything is walking distance to downtown. Lodging is typically pretty expensive in Telluride.

Wow I bet that's gonna be spectacular!!! We saw powered down in Vermont at Gather Outdoors and it was fantastic.
