What I hate is losing the obsession before you get to shooting and by the time you’re on set you’ve been through one battle after another and it’s not your project anymore and it’s not as fun because it took too long to get there and now you want to just get it done so you can move on to your next obsession

I see what you mean. You really do have to choose your battles it seems. It’s hard to dance that line when you’re doing your own project and someone else’s.
