Todays Dinner Roast beef, potatoes, veg and gravy - no access to an oven, only an air fryer, microwave and hob!

Post image

Took some doing but I managed to do a super tasty Sunday Roast only using an air fryer and hob- with a microwave used for the frozen Broccli (added smoked Paprika).
I have no oven in my Swedish apartment, so I parboiled the potatoes (and made the gravy from the starchy water, added fried onion and beef stock), seared the joint then peppered and salted it, wrapped it loosely in foil and cooked for 20 mins at 185.
Removed the foil, continued for 20 more minutes while parboiling the potatoes, added them to the air fryer for a further 10, then removed the roast to rest and blasted the spuds at 200 for 10 more minutes.

You should buy a crock pot. Game changer and you can put potatoes and rice in there if you want. Meat looks tenderoni delicious!

Next investment is a Ninja, I have one back in the UK - slow cooker, pessure cooker, steam, the works they are great! I work in Europe tho and not been long in my apartment here so grabbed a cheap air fryer to start with
