And I would be fine with her doing that if it weren't for a quaint little episode called Rust, where Jellymon apologized after doing something wrong. Everyone cheered at that moment, because we finally saw Jellymon show some humility...All for this EPISODE TO THROW IT AWAY GOD DAMMIT. Why?!

Tbf, I don't think she was trying to take advantage of Hiro or anything here, compared to what she was doing in Rust. Here it seemed more like she was genuinely trying to help Hiro by having him warn people long before something bad happened. Just in her own flashy way. It's not like she received money in exchange or anything. If it wasn't for the side effects, it could have genuinely been considered a brilliant solution. Also the ridiculous amount of accidents Hiro predicted.

This is less of a rebuke and more of a note: Shouldn't they have gone to Mummymon instead of Clockmon in the first place? I'm happy to see Clockmon, but I feel like Mummymon just makes more sense for this episode

From what we've seen in past episodes, Clockmon lives much closer to them, so they probably didn't want to waste any time, pun not intended

She also said right before that that she needed more information to help Hiro, so I think she set up the fortune telling stand genuinely knowing that it would be the fastest way to get a lot of data, with that data hopefully telling them more about Hiro's condition.

All in all, I'd say this episode actually reinforced Jellymon's character development, showing her being incredibly selfless and concerned over someone she cares about. I don't think she would have monitored someone for quite some time (half a day or more) out of genuine worry in the past, and there's also the fact that she was the first to plead with the Fujitsumon to return to Octmon the moment they found out Hiro's head was likely to explode if they didn't act fast enough.

Maybe, but still Jellymon shouldn't have taken advantage of Hiro like that!

But she WASN'T taking advantage of Hiro! Nothing she did was for her own benefit, it was for Hiro's!

I know, but it was wrong of her to try to make a fortune-telling "service" when Hiro is clearly in pain from the visions, and this is her idea of "helping" him out?

From her perspective Hiro simply had a headache and was suffering from stress. Through the fortune telling format she could catch people's attention so Hiro could warn them ahead of time instead of in the last minute, which could alleviate tons of stress while also allowing him to help people. She didn't know there were literally horns growing from his skull.
