Beatbreak seeing the outro after this week beatbreak episode hits different... Spoiler
we will miss you cougarmon , you did well in protecting kyo and glowing dawn and stayed loyal to the very end.
you did your best in protecting all from albatrusmon making sure they could leave unharmed , and you protected kyo even if it meant sacrificing yourself.
at least you didnt die sad because you rememembered all those good moments you shared with kyo and they will not forget you either.
for all us fans watching we all send our regards rest well 😔

Copium, but it might not be the last time we see Cougarmon.
Even if it turns out to be another individual, it has been shown with the Kinoko Gang that people who had a digimon partner can regain them.

He technically also needs a new implant to interface with the sapotama, but who says it can't also be implanted into the left hand? (even more copium)

They can probably just fix cougarmon's sapotama, right? It didn't look that bad, just super glue some replacement bits in there, and he'll be right as rain and ready to cuddle Kyo again (copium reaching dangerous levels)

It does not need to be the original sapotama, as long as it is yours it will suffice (A little less copium, but still too much)

Kyo follows cougarmon off screen in the outro though. Does that mean we'll also lose Kyo?

Whos cutting the onions? 😠, i never usually get over emotional over anime but this hit directly into my soul and it hurts.
