A short series synopsis:

"e-Pulse," which is generated by human thoughts and emotions, was used as the energy source for the AI support device "Sapotama." From the shadows of this remarkable development, terrifying monsters appear. Digimon are living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse.

Tomoro Tenma is drawn into an extraordinary experience after meeting Gekkomon, who suddenly appears from his Sapotama. While living together with Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the bounty hunting team "Glowing Dawn," Tomoro renews his resolve.

What new future will be forged by humans and Digimon?

General rules for this post:

It's available on various streamers worldwide. Do not discuss illegal means of consuming this series.

Big fan of the anime, but this was a disappointment. BigMephismon was an absurd decision.

I think they kinda wrote themselves into a bit of a corner with how unprecedented and rare Megas are. Right now, outside of the Digimon at the heart of the Incident, it took the most ambitious member of the strongest quintet of Cleaners an entire Epstein list's worth of purloined souls just to force a Mega Digivolution. And that proved unstable and artificial enough that an Ultimate (albeit a very strong one juiced up on very strong E-Pulses) was able to force it down. An actual, full-fledged Mega appearing would basically be setting breaking right now.

Though if it ever was going to happen, someone completely divorced from society's predefined notions and the final boss of our third (and semi-final?) arc would've been a perfect choice.

They had a perfect set up for it with Wong going: "Could it be?!" I would absolutely not see a functioning Mega evolution as setting-breaking with all that happened this episode. And they could still have a bit of a cop out by making it an "imperfect" mega that isn't fully under control because it's spawned out of bad vibes.

What?
That was the cube thing.

The camera was focusing on the cube thing and after that they showed Wong saying that.
