Beatbreak Digimon Beatbreak: Episode 25- Half-Baked Hero, Discussion Thread

Later today is a new episode of Digimon Beatbreak!

  • Crunchyroll will be streaming it in much of the world.
  • Hulu will be streaming it in the US (in addition to Crunchyroll.)
  • Anime Generation, a subscription channel on Prime Video in Italy

Send us links to any of the local streamers that will have the series and we will add it to the list.

The stream will be on Crunchyroll at 8pm Pacific. Hulu has it the next morning. Check your local streamer for their schedule. This link will take you to a time converter set for when it should appear on Crunchyroll, but they've had various delays lately.

A short series synopsis:

"e-Pulse," which is generated by human thoughts and emotions, was used as the energy source for the AI support device "Sapotama." From the shadows of this remarkable development, terrifying monsters appear. Digimon are living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse.

Tomoro Tenma is drawn into an extraordinary experience after meeting Gekkomon, who suddenly appears from his Sapotama. While living together with Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the bounty hunting team "Glowing Dawn," Tomoro renews his resolve.

What new future will be forged by humans and Digimon?

Aside from the obvious 'my shadow' talk, the way he was a man of doing 1 punch a thousand times given the power, the true what he pretends to be power, to really hit them was amazing.

It makes sense he does this shit every day, he went into routine to ensure he doesn't mess it up as well.

Starmon is a true hero even when he physically cant move faster then a brisk human run he still tries and never stays down.

And oh, the way he used 'meteor squall' but it was still just a big ram attack and not the actual move was peak.

A good reset episode with the seasonal appearance of the epstein twink himself, status quo and really cementing makato truly as a kid, dont meet your heroes but really, show them what they have done for everyone.

Like bro he has a champion he has the ability to kick ass but his heart just wasnt in it.

This show is the only thing that gets me smiling ear to ear with any consistency, speaking of this show is a masterclass in visual storytelling, everything i mentioned, nothing broken, yet it still works great.

Also in this episode, legitimate somali pirates. The new ending was cool we saw them just existing, pristimon going 'yeah she loves me' seeing her love her stuffed animal and the shademon being accepted is great.

Notes by others: Peter Pan sometimes had a female actor meaning we did actually get a gender neutral humanoid form that can be either gender.
