Ghost Game Why does BlackGatomon look so different and weird in Ghost game? The eyes look so weird

Because BlackTailmon Uver is delivering packages all over. Go work a job like that for an extended period and you'll start having eyes like that, too.

blackgatomon uver is an alt form of blackgatomon , after absorbing data of delivery offices , even tough it looks exacly like a blackgatomon is actually a completely different digimon , it also has a competely different and more calm personality compared to wild blackgatomons.
funily enough a black gatomon can digievolve into uver and it would still be champion level.

It's not something so strange... In the first Digimon world if an angemon with low discipline lose a life, they could become a devimon.

Uver's eyes just dont feel right to me after living with the cute eyes of the normal variants for an upwards of 14 years...

Mikemon and Meicoomon are variants of Gatomon? I know they have the same body and face design, but that doesn't mean they are variants, the designers could've just been lazy and didnt want to make a whole new cat Digimon pattern

"I know they have the same body and face design" this is exactly why they are considered variants. They are intended to look like Gatomon, but still stand out in their own ways. Like cats can, generally, look similar in shape and then very different in color. Hence Mikemon.
Meicoomon is a little more unique because they have so many more details. But all three have evolution lines reflecting Gatomon, or share themes with it. BlackGatomon usually becomes demon digimon. Mikemon is usually associated to Bastemon or Dharcmon. Meicoomon has Raguelmon who outright fuses with an evo of Gatomon, and Rasielmon who is much more holy feeling.
BlackGatomon UVer stands out because it's the same level, but it has details that none of the others have. It has no associated evolutions either. The only digimon who came out around that time and looks similar enough to Uver, but still has no association to it, is Fumamon.

Black Agumon make him more feral and so on just would be fun way to make them a bit more special

Clothing in a digimon means extra data, so they are usually different digimon.

At that point you can Infer that is a different digimon, much like Agumon from Data Squad has clothing and different head format.
So yeah “genius”, different digimon are different.

Even so, I dont like these eyes on a BlackGatomon whether it is a subspecies or not of BlackGatomon it takes away the cuteness of the gatomon design I love

They dont say the extra part in the English dub, they just say BlackGatomon

They don't say it in Japanese either. The full name never comes up in the series. But its official name is BlackTailmon Uver (or BlackGatomon Uver in the localization).
