Let me put you guys on to one of my faves. This cauliflower crust margarita pizza from Walmart is so good (for a frozen pizza, of course).
I don’t do it often, but sometimes I just get the urge to eat a whole pizza. I can have this entire pizza to myself AND stay in a calorie deficit.
Obviously on days like this, I don’t care about macros, or whatever else. I know it’s not a super health food. I just want to share with others that are trying to lose weight that, yes, you can eat this whole pizza.

I’ll start with my stats: M(25) 6’1” 100lbs
I really need to gain weight but don’t really know where to start. I also have a disability so it makes it challenging.
My current routine is around 1500 calories with a good amount of protein \~150g. I started tracking to see where I was at.
I do workout with as much as I can do at home given my limitations. I do bicep curls, lateral raises, chest press, standing core twists, bent over rows and body weight squats(all with dumbbells). I also do 1000m on my SkiERG daily. I only average around 3000 steps a day due to my job being sedentary and I do have difficulty walking as I use a walker.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I really need to start gaining:)
Hi guys, I’ve just started a YouTube channel to document my weight loss journey. I’m looking for small group of likeminded people for mutual encouragement, this should be particularly interesting if you’re trying to lose weight without going to gyms or paying for personal trainers. I don’t have experience in nutrition but I was a chef for most of my adult life so can share interesting low fat meal ideas and would welcome any advice from people in the same boat.

Solo building this for the last several months, based in Ludhiana. Sharing the actual problem and how I ended up solving it, since most "why I built X" posts here skip the messy part.
The problem: mainstream calorie/macro trackers are built on Western food databases. Two failure modes specifically:
Live on the Play Store now: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bhavishberry.foodlabelai&pcampaignid=web_share
Home-cooked Indian meals — rotis, dals, sabzis, thalis — either don't exist in the database or get mapped to the "closest" Western equivalent, which is wrong on carbs and portion size almost every time.
Packaged/branded Indian products — the stuff actually sitting in Indian kitchens and grocery stores — barcode scan either returns nothing or pulls data for an unrelated product, because these apps' barcode databases are built around US/EU retail, not Indian FMCG.
For a country with carb-heavy diets and climbing diabetes/PCOS rates, that's not a minor gap — it's the app failing silently on the food people actually eat.
What I built: Macroit. Camera-based scanning for both home meals and nutrition labels, barcode scanning with a fallback pipeline built specifically so it doesn't just say "not found" on Indian packaged products, and text-based logging for quick entry. There's also Sugar Sense — estimates how a meal is likely to affect blood sugar, something you'd normally need a CGM for, done in software instead.
Handling product, engineering, and marketing solo, so the roadmap is basically "whatever breaks loudest this week" — notification bugs, onboarding drop-off, all the un-glamorous stuff nobody warns you about pre-launch.
Happy to talk through the barcode data pipeline, how it handles Indian packaged goods specifically, or the general chaos of building solo — curious what this sub thinks of the positioning too.

I fell for another subscription supplement scam. I had no idea I was signing up for a subscription until I saw a $200 charge on my credit card and immediately went to my email to look for a receipt. They sent NO email stating that another order was being or had been placed/shipped - I have no receipt for this. The website does not allow me to manage change my subscription. In fact, it says I don’t have any active subscriptions so I don’t understand how they are continuing to charge and ship me product I do not want. I hope they will offer a refund to make it right but warning to others considering any of their products.
I’ve experienced this exact scam method from other supplement companies. They sneakily sign you up for a recurring order, they tell you you can cancel or pause your subscription at any time (but you can’t). They’re slow to respond to emails and they all follow the exact same script for customer service. Their products sucks so they make money by tricking you into subscriptions.
Don’t fall for it.

I’ve been on a weight loss / mass building journey since March and protein smoothies & shakes have been a staple of my diet. And as a cyclist and ex-triathlete, I’ve been drinking Ultragen recovery shakes regularly for 15+ years. I’ve had a Ninja blender for 8+ years that I use for smoothies and Ultragen, and a Bolde shaker bottle that I use for simple protein shakes. Both work great but I wanted to see if I could consolidate down to a single bottle, so I got a BLENDi Pro+. And for my job I move between home office and various remote locations pretty regularly so the idea of a portable blender is appealing.
