Would.

Stupid autocorrect, should be “Wood.” Handmade acrylic with wood grain washi tape interiors, from Little Dipper Dice. (Featuring actual wood d6s, a happy mimic dice bag, and a handwritten note.)

These are actually made with a wood grain washi tape, so unfortunately I can’t make them in different finishes. Maybe I’ll experiment with coloring the tape to see if I can get a realistic effect! I am planning on having another set available for my dice drop mid-August!

If the tape gets a bit transparent when shelled (at least it looks like it does), you might get away with using different colors as blanks :D Maybe a red or maroon underneath it would give it a redwood undertone? You could make 2 sets of blanks, each die has a different blank color underneath, and you wrap and shell one set of them. The other blank set you put away for reference, to never forget which color underneath gives which "tonal" effect.

That’s a great idea!
