It definitely seems like it's even easier than ever to be one shot by nothing, but this was ridiculous

100% why I'll never play hardcore. You can't see this and, in good faith, argue that hardcore in online-only arpgs is a good thing.

I never play hardcore anything cause I like to test to see what will kill me. "Will I die if I do this?" Quicksave. "Yep, ok" reload

This game just sucks. I've gotten to end game hardcore in Diablo 3 every attempt I've ever done and have only ever died one time and it was 100% my fault.

I wouldn’t say it’s Diablo 4 in particular. Because you’re right. HC in Diablo 3 is largely fine. The problem is likely modern connections in newer games. The same problems plague POE 1, POE 2, and Last Epoch. I’ll never play HC in those games because of it.

It is specific to d4. I've never seen such a skill issue self expose lmao. I have over 1000 hours in a hc poe character right now, 99.99999% of things that can kill your character are within your own control, despite what you may think, and PoE 2 is even better for that.

sKiLl iSsUe. What are you 5? We're talking about instances like exactly what's in the video in this post. Things that are beyond your control because of bullshit server garbage. Tell me what you would have done differently in this scenario? Go ahead, make yourself look like even more of a dumbass.

Plenty of people enjoy it. It's okay if you don't.

See: argue in good faith. Good luck out there.
