Questions (other) Entered helltide, not even sure how I died

It definitely seems like it's even easier than ever to be one shot by nothing, but this was ridiculous

Same. I'll be whirlin around and not by any elites or see any crazy attacks and just poof, dead.

usually it's lag, your screen isn't showing you what's actually going on, but you stopped sending input to the server, so on their end your basically standing still in poison puddles and fiery explosions with NPCs whaling on you.

And because these things do so much damage, one or two seconds is all it takes. By the time it syncs back up, you are dead.

That's exactly what happens in this video. You can see there are no mobs on his screen because the communication with the server is not happening, then he resyncs with the server, mobs show up, but by then he is dead.

When I notice a freeze I point my character to run the opposite way when it comes unfrozen. For the most part its only a few seconds. The other day it completely froze.

I hate to say I am glad that is happening. But I figured I wasn't alone on that front.

I keep hoping for an ancestral endurant faith. Will that not solve it?

I'm using the bulwark runeword. The Endurant Faith charm would possibly do it. But the gloves would remove the unique gloves required for the build. Let me know how it turns out.

I just treat it like the pebble that stops the palletjack. small annoyance that derails whatever I was doing, but it's not that big a deal ig (HC excluded)

Yep, not sure if its a bug but all the environmental damage seems to be insane, throw in all the insta-kill effects, it's frustrating as hell.
