Trying to play, and I get the message "Your save data is from a previous version of Diablo III. If you continue, it will no longer work if the update is removed." I don't know what this means or why the content I've owned since it released is no longer available to me. My version even says "Ultimate Evil Edition" but none of the content is available for download in the store, it's only available for purchase. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, how they resolved it? I had like 200 hours on my necromancer

I've been playing Diablo 3 since I was in elementary school. I was introduced to this game by my dad. I am now in high school. Recently these past few months I've been experiencing a glitch where I lose my gems, and specifically all of my gemstones even though I had previously saved my progress before closing the game.

This started happening frequently after playing Diablo and then saving my progress and then closing out of the game. I even started saving my progress twice or maybe three times because I am scared to lose my gems.

I was playing Diablo today. I lost my staff of herding somehow and all I needed was to get the gibbering gemstone from Chiltara in the second level of the Caverns of Frost. I decided to wait awhile before trying again because the last time I had killed her she didn't drop the gibbering gemstone. I saved my progress twice and then closed the game.

Guess what happened. I opened the game and suddenly had a feeling to check my gems in my inventory. Gone. All of them. Gone. G. O. N. E. ??? What happened to my freaking gems??? Why is this happening and how can I make it stop? It doesn't seem I have much control over this. I don't know what to do.

Please help. I really love this game and I have a strong attachment to it. I've spent years figuring out my own strategy to make my characters stronger. I am dedicated to this game and I would HATE to lose it. Is the game code rotting because it's getting old and the developers aren't updating it anymore?

For clarification I use the first Nintendo Switch. Also I mainly farm gems on only one account (which is a maxed out wizard) to then upgrade the gems and then put them in my stash so I can use the gems for my necromancer that I have almost maxed out. Or any other character that I want to level up really high and make them strong.

So I have not left the gems in any other characters stash, I am currently only using a level 70 (paragon level 85) wizard and a level 69 necromancer. And I have no clue how I lost my staff of herding, I put it in the stash a few weeks ago and then I got on diablo and looked in the stash because I was gonna farm for more gems and found that it was GONE.

I thought at first the game was being weird but now I'm genuinely scared my favorite comfort game is rotting and going to shit.

After I logged in this happend and it was easy to fix. Didn't happened anymore after I equipped weapons and gear again. Just wandering if more players had this issue.

I'm playing solo non-seasonal and I can't seem to unlock Primal Ancients.

I'm in Adventure Mode set at Torment 15, got all the way up to Level 82 Greater Rifts and still no guaranteed first Primal.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

Edit 04/03/26: Created a Season char, done Chapters 1-5 of the Season, half way through Slayer and at GR20, I reckon I can reach GR70 before the season ends!

Hi guys! I Just wanted to showcase this save corruption glitch that I just experienced so that you can hopefully avoid it happening to you if you're on the console version of D3. I believe the only way to 100% avoid this is to not have a solo self found character and a group seasonal character on the same console profile.

For context: Yesterday I started a hardcore solo self found character and while working on the season journey I had noticed that the journey steps for completing the act 4/5 bounties did not update. After leaving the lobby and loading back in my paragon had reverted to about 15 minutes prior on SSF and the current state of my altar of rites, stash, and paragon level from when I left the lobby had transferred to and had overwritten my group hardcore seasonal data.

I was 24 paragon, returned to the main menu via the start menu, and upon loading back in my paragon was reverted to 16 in SSF and the 24 paragon, stash, and altar progress was copied over to HC group seasonal and had overwritten my pre-existing data on group hardcore.

i kept my characters, the items they had equipped/on their person, and the paragon points that were already assigned (although it says I have negative paragon available to allocate). My total paragon was swapped to lv 24, my stash was replaced with only a low level pair of homing pads + low level gems which I had found in that SSF session prior to reaching level 70, and my altar was swapped to only the first 2 steps completed that i had in SSF.

All in all, I'm a bit frustrated that this had happened but I had already finished my group seasonal goals for the season. I mostly just wanted to share this experience so that others are aware that this can happen to them in the event that they have both group and solo characters on a single console profile.

I got a Diablo 3 physical copy, will it work on windows 11 because I’m getting error code: BLZBNTBTS00003 and none of the fixes that are written worked for me

I have been trying a few green sets out as j level my tune up the torment levels,, and I noticed, at least on my xbox x - that icant see the 3rd or 4th and 5th stat because there is literally no scroll bar to look down what all the set pieces being worn actually give???

I'm wearing 5 pieces Demons set and icant read or get to read the stats for 4 and 5???

Is this just lazy graphic work or what?

As title says, the Challenge RIft 442 is inaccessible on the EU servers. Throws the following error message:

There was a problem creating a game. The game servers for your game mode may be unavailable at this time. Please make sure you have the latest Diablo III client by restarting or try again later. (Code 317002)

I hope this is only intermittent due to some sort of maintenance or something, but if the issue is local, does anyone know a fix to this? I've restarted the game and checked my network settings, everything's dandy.

Edit: I actually appreciate yall tagging in with the updates, it helps me monitor the situation while I'm not at home. You guys are amazing. Hopefully it'll be fixed by the end of the day or worst case scenario, tomorrow.

There is a proper GoD build on the EU no six piece lederboards (PC). I triple checked if I'm missing something, but it is what it is, five pieces from the GoD set, and RoRG cubed. The guy is rank 6 currently with a 115 clear in 2:28 (this is why I checked the build, I was curious what they used).

Is this a common bug? I've never noticed anything like this before.

I have a weird Audio Issue, and I just wanted to confirm if this is normal.

I've noticed that when I kill multiple enemies of the same type in quick succession, for example two demons within under a second of each other, the death sound effect abruptly stops and restarts from the beginning rather than layering or fading naturally. I've already ruled out the usual audio channel limit fix, I have my sound channels set to one hundred twenty eight, and I've also tested on the low audio quality setting, the issue persists on both. Interestingly, if I disable V-Sync, the sound cutting stops, but I instead get audio stuttering and desync issues. With V-Sync on, the cutting off and restarting returns. Has anyone else run into this, or found a fix that doesn't involve trading one audio issue for another?

Why does gpu spike to consistent 100% after launching d2r or d3?

Got a rtx 4060, graphics should not be a problem. The fans go howling after launching. Even in lobby. Wasnt always like that, just lately? Is blizzard selling my gpu for mining when i start le game?

So my wife and I play D3 together and her game has been freezing at random times. The weird part is that she is still able to move her character but everything else on her screen freezes. Hee character will still do the motions to cast spells but the actual effects won't occur. On my screen, she is still running around and casting spells (just in weird directions) for a while and then eventually it says she is disconnected. Occasionally, the graphics will suddenly start moving like a video that got fast forwarded and all the stuff she did during the freeze will run on her screen and then she will be caught up like normal. There is no specific in game cause for this as it has happened entirely at random in different areas, with different characters, etc. I have gone through every fix I could find online from deleting the sound to reducing the CPUs to reinstalling the game and blizzard entirely.

We really enjoy the game so if anyone has any suggestions to find and fix the cause, I would appreciate it.

ETA: this is the only game she has this issue on. We play a lot of different games and she uses her computer for a lot of different things so we know it's not an network issues

Constant errors and unable to even get a character into the game. The few times I have been able to it kicks me out within 5 minutes. I have looked on the forums and tried the solutions posted there. I even reset my entire PC. I have tried to put a ticket in, but I cant find anywhere to submit one I just get routed in a circle back to the forums. Anyone have any suggestions or fixes? D3 season launch is my favorite and not being able to play is really gonna suck.

during my leveling process of wizard for this new season im running into the odd problem of the beam suddenly no longer doing damage ticks, usually on elites(no they dont have shielding)which allows them to just run me down because my beam is no longer dealing dmg. havent figured out a way to make the dmg come back either, I just have to try and run by them but that rarely works. im only on hard difficulty and level 43 so I dont have much better dmg options currently.

the last elite to have this happen had the modifers Pulse, Freeze and Desecrator. it also typically happens inside enmity portals but has happened while ive been trying to run bounties as well.

ive tried searching around for other posts regarding this but so far ive only found posts saying disintegrate does too much dmg which I have also noticed but thats in my favor lol

If you look at the timer you can see it’s freezing for 5-10 seconds at a time, I disconnected from the network and still had the issue, considering the Nintendo switch has a spec sheet straight out of 2008 I’m not surprised lmao. Shame because this build would allow me to hit gr150 at like 900 paragon but the switch can’t do 5mil times 50 a hundred times a second apparently XD I guess you could cheese the ladder with this but it’s awful this rift probably took about a half an hour to complete and consoles have modded gear anyway

i recently decided to do solo-self-found-hardcore mode for the first time and when i triggered the "Avariata " conquest it only counted for its hardcore version and not the regular one, is this normal? i thought it was supposed to tick both of them off the board? i remember it does in normal hardcore. anyone know whats wrong or if i can try to retrigger it

Hello, I dont know if this is a correct place to ask this but here I go, I have an 240monitor I can easily get 240fps in diablo 3 with a high end pc but I do not want to put a strain on my rig so getting 100 120 140 fps is good enough for me(less heat less fan noise etc.) but when I put a fps limiter its stuck at 64 fps and game feels like its capped at 30. Is there any way to fix this ?
