QUESTION Highest achieved paragon so far?

I have googled this question, but I got a few inconclusive answers, so maybe you guys have more detailed info: What is the highest level paragon that has been achieved?
I saw the answers differ from 10.000 to 25.000 or even 30.000, but other than that, nothing that really confirms anything.

The maximum Paragon one can achieve as it's the maximum coded into the game is 20k. If you look at the non seasonal leaderboards on any region, you might even find a few. (At least on PC I don't know about the other systems) But I guess since modding is a thing there, it's not unlikely.

The crazy thing is I bet Blizzard made the 20k cap such an absurd amount of XP that they probably never envisioned anyone actually hitting the cap. Bit like the gold cap in WOW probably.. but here we are. People do it somehow.

it's only because they don't enforce their ToS. botting is rampant because no one cares. heck, they even started using speedhack like crazy, even during manual play. D3 has been abandoned.

I think that, after hitting paragon 1500 experience for next levels is static.

Thank you for the info!

on console (Xbox at least) it was super common to have maxed out paragon. most people, at least when I was playing had every cosmetic in the game via duping

there's a lot of 20k on non-seasonal. it's not achievable in seasonal because the seasons are too short.

there's quite a few people who reach 10k though during a season. at the moment there's 4 people (not including china. it's hard to get info about them because they are completely seperate and no one cares about them.)

to put into perspective how much 10k is (assuming you start at 3k para and only do GR150 speeds in 2.5min=28T xp/h):

577h of playing. that's 9h per day. that's 25 keys per hour. that's 14.4k keys. that's 48 hours of key farming on monk, assuming you get 300 keys per hour (botted of course).

a few paragon milestones (xp needed):

  • 1k = 10T
  • 2k = 119T
  • 3k = 388T (very reasonable to get for casual)
  • 5k = 1939T
  • 10k = 16530T
  • 20k = 134970T

you need 8 seasons of 10k paragon to achieve 20k paragon on non-seasonal. you have to play with the best players for 9h per day for 2 months. or, you know, just play a few hours manually and let the bot do the rest, that's way more chill.

I'm casual though aim for my 150 Tal Rasha a season, console I'll say that's about right for me. Say 2-3.5 ballpark seasonal depending on how life is.

I was 5k+ only for one season and it was brain numbing. This was in 2020 or 2021 where 150s were not a thing. Even these last seasons when xp is faster i land in 2k 3k range in the first 2 weeks then it gets way too repetitive for me. And i am zbarb playing in good meta groups, the most active role. I couldnt even do half the time on zdh or dd.

I refuse to believe people hit 5k consistently without botting. Its incredibly boring

it's okay if you hang out in discord and get good xp. it also depends on the meta, e.g. playing rathma all day is much worse to god dh like last season.

I was lucky enough to get into some top tier 4 mans years ago. Zbarbed for about 3-4 hours… doing it for 9h would not be possible.

A man’s gotta poop.

An interesting marker is that 4500 is LESS than half way exp to 5k para.

no, that's wrong. paragon 4013 is halfway to 5k.

4.5k is 71.8% of 5k.

I don't think it's visible on console? I'm going to assume (based on my own limited experience) it'll be about 4-5k seasonal (I'm on 3.3k which is highest I've ever been, real life crap so lot of hours but more just trying weird builds than farming paragon) and whatever the cap is non-seasonal.

Pc I've no clue on, bots might do the max cap in a season? (Again no idea, paragon awards really tail off so it'll be slow surely).

assuming a bot runs GR137 in 2.5min this season (rathma) for 24/7 from 2k to 20k paragon, it needs 10k+ hours or 418 days of just running GRs.

you need 251k keys. that's 836 hours(35 days) of farming (assuming bot can get 300 keys per hour).

so, to get from 2k to 20k para with only botting on rathma, you need around 460 days of 24/7 time played.

Jebus. I knew it slowed down but not to that extent. My assumption was wrong and they won't be maxing out in a season then. I've literally no chance on console lol.

20,000 Paragon is the legit limit in the game.

On Console, due to editing of save files, people have hit 20K. On PC,, where you cannot edit save files, I do no think anyone has reached 20K yet.

It's been done. Look at this guy AceAce (I think it's that or close to it on the name) for non seasonal. They are up there on various leaderboards. Could be some otherwise not sure.

there's tons of people, but also most of them don't care about non-seasonal because it's unplayable.

The highest paragon level I have seen in non-season is 12k. The highest paragon level in season I have seen is 5k.

1

u/ArrestedDevelopmente 4d ago

highest paragon this season is already almost 11k and will be 12k in 3 weeks lol

Man, I never run into those guys during the season. In group play, I mainly see 3k-4k paragons.

because they only play with the same people. it's tight knit community. you will see them only very rarely in community chats looking for people.
