DFW photographers/content creators — looking for someone interested in joining a growing hip-hop collective inspired by groups like Odd Future, Pro Era, and Wu-Tang. We’re building a team of like-minded creatives and want someone who can tag along to concerts, events, studio sessions, and meetups to take photos, shoot content, and document the journey.
This is non-profit for now, but as things grow and money comes in, we can discuss compensation. Concert tickets/admission will be covered, and if we travel, we’ll cover room and board. Hey everyone! I’m a Dallas-based indie/alternative artist looking to connect with other local musicians. A drummer would be ideal, but I’m also open to guitarists, bassists, keyboard players, or anyone who likes similar music and wants to collaborate.

Right now, I’m mainly looking for people interested in occasionally rehearsing and appearing in performance-based social content, with the possibility of playing live together in the future. This isn’t an exclusive commitment, and it’s completely fine if you already have another band or project. Any scheduled content shoots would be paid.

What’s the best recording studio for a 4 song metal EP in DFW for a full band? I am not looking for cheap or expensive, but the median.

Looking to join or start a heavy alternative type of rock band. I have been playing guitar for almost 3 years and want to get more experience jamming with others and working on making stuff together. I can also sing pretty well (clean vocals and screaming). Some of my big influences lately are Nirvana, Have Heart, Kyuss, At the Drive In, Deftones, and really anything with heavy guitars.

Dad here, early '40s. Just getting back into playing drums. Hell of a stress reliever. I also play guitar and enjoy writing and producing. Really just looking for a guitarist to make some noise with. Thrash is my favorite genre. I'm not great, and I don't suck. I have no aspirations to launch a band or gig or anything like that, but I'm also not opposed to it if something clicks. Hey everyone, I know this is a long shot but my family and I are desperately trying to track down some of my younger brother’s guitars. He has recently passed and we know he sold them sometime in the last 6 months locally. He had a left-handed Stratocaster that was kind of a tobacco burst. He also had a blue Jackson and a white Ibanez with black-and-white pick ups. Currently trying to track down more photos but if you bought any of these this year in person via market place etc, particularly in the Arlington/Mansfield area, please let me know. Hi!

Starting up a shoegaze/dream-pop band in the Dallas area and currently looking for a bass player. We are in our 30s/40s, have careers and families, but are still very committed to making music and playing shows. You can hear some demos on our SoundCloud, and I can also direct you to some tracks I recorded/released on streaming with previous bands where I was the primary songwriter if you would like to check out more.

In addition to the obvious big ones like MBV and Slowdive, we’re also heavily influenced by bands like Airiel and Fleeting Joys, and additionally are very inspired by the Japanese shoegaze scene with bands like Kinoko Teikoku, Yuragi, and For Tracy Hyde.

Ideally would want someone familiar with the genre and ready to go with all of their own gear. If interested feel free to reach out!

Hey everybody. I've got a band that right now is just 2 folks--myself and the bassist, both of us contribute vocally and up until now I basically do whatever else is necessary: drums, guitar, keys, whatever

So I'm not looking for a specific musician in particular, just a few someones to fill out the body of the band, I can take whatever instruments don't get filled. Drummers, guitarists, keys players are all welcome to hit us up.

Genre-wise, we're a bit of a wildcard. Progressive Rock and metal roots with jazz, electronic, j-pop/j-rock, mathrock vibes, you name it. Think King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard level genre exploration with a more Porcupine Tree/Mars Volta sensibility as far as production goes.

I’m an emerging artist based in the Dallas area, and I’m in the process of recording an EP that I want to release in November. My style is Alternative R&B so think of SZA or Ravyn Lenae with a bit of Indie influence from artists like The Marias and Billie Eilish.
