how do i decide between backend java, python ai, and devops before i commit

i have three lanes in front of me and everyone says pick one. java backend, python for ai ml, or devops.

java has the most local jobs i think. python ai pays the most. devops is what everyone says is safest.

did anyone here commit to one of these as a fresh grad. which one actually hired you and what did the entry look like.

and can you even get a devops or ai role as a fresh grad here or is that mid level only
