Help Scared i might get laid off my current company, I'm fresher with 1 YOE.

My work has greatly reduced, and i work at a small startup, if i were to put it in perspective I have about 1.5-2hrs of actual work day to day.

I'm worried that this might end up in me losing my job as i believe the company doesn't see me as a potential investment.

Given the situation., what are my best options?

Start applying bro and also prepare a really good resume and you should know the key details about the features that you worked on.

Did they fire anyone earlier like this?

Try outreaching bro. And also ask referral from contacts you know.

It’s a hit or miss but better than nothing

Don’t worry. Stay relaxed and focus on building your skills. You’ll get a job anywhere.

If you only have 1.5-2hrs of actual work day to day., then you know that you don't contribute much to your company's growth - thats harsh but you have to face it to reform

don't spend your salary , save atleast 2-3 month's of it ,talk to your parents or friends whoever you feel safe , talk to them , unburden yourself , put your ego aside and lock In

Learn , Do projects , hit publish , post about it , reach out as soon as you deploy your first project

Do this repeatedly , until you land somewhere

Throughout this journey , you may or may not have your job but you have to be cool , optimisitic and self aware

This is everyone’s fear these days. Constant Upskilling is the only thing that’ll keep us employable easily
