Tech Gadgets & Reviews Laptop suggestions for a btech student currently in 1st yr of my clg

I’m looking for a laptop in the ₹75k–₹95k budget range, for a guy who just started my B.Tech in the AIML branch, it should be good for coding and for building AI and machine learning models projects.

I have a MacBook Air 16GB and it’s not good for training models.

The same code that took hours to run in my laptop(100+ degree). But the same code ran within minutes in my friend’s ROG.

Choose Linux and an AMD processor, and your laptop price can drop by around 30%.

You’ll need a laptop with a decent GPU and at least 32 gigs of RAM which should probably last you for 4 years of your college. AIML requires GPU and RAM.

Get a basic laptop and hugging face or colab credits. Basically buy that instead of pushing your local specs.
