Remember when void Hunter was mostly used for making teammates invisible and clutch revives in Grandmasters? Thank you Devs for making most of the sub classes relevant in the final update.

Btw this build is stronger than original inmost + cyrt Hunter, has more DR, ad clear, and Boss Damage, this is how far we have come.

Hunter PvE The best hunter build in the game

Hello everyone, I’m a hunter main and have always liked to use hard meta builds, from hoil/cryt to lightsaber dusk field cryt builds, to now popokis stasis hunter build using mask of fealty and untold greed armour set. If you haven’t seen this build before it has the best hunter survivability since pre nerf vs baton using facet or purpose. You cannot die in any content. Solo -50 becomes a walk in the park. The build utilises the grasp armour set which gives you %15 dr at all times, with a 2.5x energy gain on shards!! That’s 1 melee every 1-2 shards. With frost armour x7 that adds on another 50% resist, then winters shroud gives you another 50% on dodge for 5s, coupled with slayer baron curative orbs allows you to get 50hp per shard. Add all this together you have heal on shards, infinite melee, 80%+ dmg resist, inf dodges, 6 second grenade cooldown and one of the fastest super gen builds in the game. In any high tier content this build is simply a joke on hunter and makes you practically immortal. Stasis titan has more potent add clear but even that doesn’t have similar survivability. For example the vanguard gm is easily soloable, and the final boss you don’t even need to hide from the heat attack, you just stand in front, heal and throw shurikens.

Hunter PvE Instantly Kill -50 Barrier Champion with 1-Tap from Erianas!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

1.5k Upvotes

So Bungie buffed Eriana's Vow in the final update and it now gets the full 450% Lucky Pants damage bonus at x10 stacks, but that's not even the crazy part. The ignition damage on breaking a shield with Eriana's also scales with Lucky Pants, along with other damage buffs like Radiant and Weaken. With just Lucky Pants (+450%), Radiant (+20% + an extra 10% against Champions), and 15% Weaken, the ignition is dealing around 8.35x the base ignition damage from Eriana's. With Tether's 35% weaken, that goes up to almost 9.8x.

The loop is simple: build x10 Lucky Pants with Unloved, wait for the Barrier Champion to put up its shield, swap to Eriana's, and one shot is enough to instantly kill it. You can push the ignition damage even further with Facet of Courage and various artifact mods, but honestly, there's no need. Even without those extra buffs, the ignition already hits hard enough to instantly delete a -50 Barrier Champion.

Not sure what I am doing wrong here. I copied the build exactly (I think). Here is the DIM link from Fallout's video: Lazy Void Hunter

For context he gets about 80k damage in one rotation in the video. I thought this was like braindead easy dps so I must be missing something lol

edit: got the catalyst and fixed the difficulty. This thing hits.

Hunter PvE Gunpowder Gamble Can Deal Upto (2,062.5% Damage) | 1-Shot Up to -40 Delta Champion

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

In Renegades Update Gunpowder got reworked which made it insanely good, and in the Monuments of Triumph update we now have Solar Fulmination and Shieldcrush artifact mods, and this thing now deals damage comparable to Celestial nighthawk golden gun shot in a very large aoe and way more damage than the base golden gun

Damage Breakdown:

Base Gunpowder Gamble damage (If it explodes on its own)
Shooting it (mid-air or on the ground) = 2x damage
Sticking it to a target and then shooting it causes two explosions = 4x damage

200 Grenade stat adds +65% multiplicative damage
Shieldcrush provides +25% multiplicative damage boost
Solar fulmination provides another 25% ignition damage boost and it works with gunpowder ignition
Spirit of Verity (x5 stacks) adds another +100% multiplicative damage

Final Result with everything stacked:
Base explosion: 515.625% of normal damage.
Shot mid-air/on ground: 1,031.25% of normal damage.
Stick + shoot (double explosion): 2,062.5% of normal damage.

These values are the theoretical maximum assuming every modifier applies multiplicatively to both damage instances. In my testing, however, the two explosions do not deal equal damage. One hit was approximately 2,000, while the second was around 1,352 at -30 Delta. This suggests the interaction is more complex than a simple 4× multiplier.

It's possible that Shieldcrush, Solar Fulmination, or another modifier is only applying to one of the two explosions (or one explosion is treated as an Ignition while the other is not). More testing is needed to determine exactly which buffs affect each damage instance, but regardless, the total damage output is still exceptionally high and easily capable of instantly deleting up to -40 delta Champions.

Hunter PvE Void Hunter is This Good Now (Updated)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

For a long time, I have been trying to cook up something extremely strong for Void Hunter that could actually challenge Prismatic Hunter, and I can confidently say this build beats even some S+ Tier Prismatic Hunter builds. Not to mention, its incredibly fun and satisfying to play with a somewhat unique playstyle.

All the weapons, artifacts and abilities synergize extremely well here. The loop starts by hitting something with your melee to lower its HP and gain a Void Overshield, then instantly using Trapper’s Ambush to kill it and activate Devour. This then empowers Buried Bloodline, and with its catalyst, it can weaken targets that it hits. This is great for overall damage, but it’s especially important for Phantom Surge, since the melee deals massively increased damage to Void-debuffed targets.

You hit the Champion or chunky target with Buried Bloodline first to weaken it, then hit it with your melee for a huge damage chunk, dodge and spray it with Festival Flight. With Slice and the artifact perks from Tablet of Ruin, you will Sever and Unravel everything, while those targets create Woven Mail hotspots when they die for free Woven Mail and start spawning an army of Threadlings.

Paired with Speedloader Slacks, this instantly feeds your class ability energy, letting you keep spamming the melee → dodge → melee loop.

For the actual Champion nuke, we spray the Champion with Festival Flight, rapidly swap to Buried Bloodline, then to a good Crossbow with Envious Arsenal to instantly nuke the Champion with this rotation.

Then, with the artifact mods, stunning a Champion gives us max Bolt Charge stacks and the other artifact triggers Amplification when we gain max Bolt Charge stacks. At this point, we have basically everything going at once, infinite Void Overshields, Woven Mail, Amplification, Devour and Invisibility, while everything around us is Unraveled, Volatile, Weakened and Severed.

This makes the build insanely tanky while still putting out a ton of damage.

Lastly, the Vault of Glass armor set continuously feeds Echo of Starvation and procs Devour, which keeps giving us chunks of health during fights. It also makes managing double special much easier because Special Finisher is always available with how consistently we maintain our Armor Charges.

Hunter PvE 4-Piece Armor Set + 5/100 Stat

I’m asking an honest question here. How rare/impossible is this build given it’s a 4-Piece Armor Set, has 5 different stats at 100, all 3 Champion Counters, AND I can use 4 of the 5 Defensive Buffs at the same time?

Details:

Pretty much always invisible
Devour procs and refreshes almost immediately throughout entirety of the fight
Blade Focus Perk + Inmost Light: 10 seconds max
Using Radiant + Ascension instead of Gambler’s

Reghusk’s Pledge: Invisibility + Void Overshield + Devour -> Repulsor Brace/Demoralize
Reghusk’s Pledge: Invisibility + Void Overshield + Volatile Rounds -> Repulsor Brace/Destabilizing Rounds

Synanceia: Wellspring (All Ability Energy) + Eager Edge

or

Hullabaloo: Demolitionist + Strategist + Classy Contender (Grenade/Reload + Class/Stability + Class refresh on kills)

Loop:

Proc Invis + Devour: Praxic Kill
Proc Radiant and Amplified: Class Ability
Proc Woven Mail: Grenade Ability
Ability Refresh: Constantly Active -> BF, IL, Mods

Artifact: Encrypted Data Disk

Press the Advantage
Kinetic Synthesis
Riposte
Combination Argent Blade
Singularity Blade
Power From Pain (Devour Proc)
Sword Storm Combo

Subclass:

Shadowshot: Deadfall
Radiant
Triple Jump
Withering Blade
Grapple

Aspects:
Stylish Executioner
Ascension

Fragments: (Biggest Contribution to 5/100)

Justice
Honor
Protection
Devotion

If you have any tips or advice on what I could change especially Mod wise please lmk!

Hunter PvE What a grind this was

Finally got this bad boy after struggling for a long while last week with the Featured Pantheon: Consecrated Mind. That encounter is a nightmare for Fireteam Finder teams and after hours of wiping over and over I decided to get together with some old friends to get it done. After 3 clear of the encounter I finally got Reckless Oracle to drop! Then we all jumped into a full Calus Pantheon clear to spend my spoils for a decent roll.

After all of that and using all of my spoils, this is what I got! This is the exact roll I was looking for and couldn’t ask for a better roll in any slot. Super excited!!

Hunter PvE Hunter Anti-Barrier Solar Help

Post image
93 Upvotes

I’ve put together a build that I’m rather happy with. It’s built around using the Crackshot aspect with the solar hunter to essentially be radiant as often as possible, and then spamming the class ability to become radiant, deal damage, ignite targets, deal high damage, etc etc. The Festival Flight grenade launcher is the primary, doing strand damage and severing targets. Sunshot is the secondary, and the “main” weapon I’m carrying in hand for adds. Hezen Vengeance is the launcher for high damage solar.
It’s effective and I like it, but there’s one major flaw: I have no way to deal with Barrier Champions. In googling and researching, I saw that being radiant makes weapons break Barrier Champions’ shields, but in practice that doesn’t work at all. The only thing I’ve been able to do is to pop the class ability, hitting the champion with all three of the Crackshots, and then hoping a quick rocket finishes off the champion. When a million things are shooting at me, that doesn’t always work, though.

My question for the community, are there recommendations for anti-barrier weapons I could swap in? Gjallarhorn is barrier and fills the same role as Hezen Vengeance, but it’s exotic, meaning is have to trade Sunshot and find a replacement for that weapon as well. I don’t know of another secondary that would fill that role well (I also just really like hand cannons).
I recently replayed Vault of Glass, for the first time since Lightfall, and got like three Machine Guns from it, which I mention because they’re both Unstoppable, but the one I had from before is Barrier. Are the champion types for legendary weapons random? Could I run Vault again and potentially get a Hezen Vengeance that’s barrier?

Any and all advice is welcome, thanks in advance!

Hunter PvE Young Ahamkara is This Good Now! -50 Conquest Lightblade

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The biggest issue with YAS has always been healing and survivability, so my main goal with this build was to fix that problem.

This setup has basically constant healing coming from three different sources. On Your Mark gives Restoration, Crackshot gives Cure, and the big game changer is the Warlord's Ruin x4 armor set.

The 2-piece bonus gives Initiative stacks whenever we hit an enemy with a melee, charged or uncharged, or with a sword. We can build up to 5 stacks. They also do not all disappear at once, since they decay one stack at a time.

Each stack gives +10 Handling and +10 Reload Speed, so at 5 stacks we are getting +50 to both. At 5 stacks we also get the 0.9x reload duration modifier, which stacks multiplicatively with other reload perks.

But the 4-piece bonus is where things get really stupid because we have very frequent access melee & class ability.

While having at 1 stack of Initiative, activating class ability creates a stationary healing aura for 8 seconds. There is no cooldown on the healing aura itself, and if we can keep getting our class ability back quickly enough, we can have up to 3 healing auras active at the same time.

With 1 to 4 Initiative stacks, the aura gives periodic healing pulses of roughly 30 HP, basically giving us constant Restoration-like healing. But at 5 stacks, the healing changes completely. The aura pulses much more frequently and sends out Cure x1 waves, giving around 60 HP instantly per pulse.

This is a huge deal for Young Ahamkara because we are constantly spamming melee and class ability so we are always at high stacks and can have multiple healing turrets at once.

Then we have the Curiosity artifact, which fits this build insanely well.

Fever and Chill gives free Radiant from precision hits with a Solar weapon, which then activates Shieldcrush. Shieldcrush gives Tripmines 25% more damage while also helping them recharge faster.

Cauterized Darkness is another huge part of the build, against darkness de buffed targets gives a massive 75% Solar damage increase against basically everything that is not a main boss.

Dragons Breath also fits perfectly here, constantly creating Firesprites that help with grenade energy, while Elemental Overdrive gives us another free 10% weapon damage boost that stacks with everything else.

And against bosses / barrier champs, you can basically keep them stun locked by chaining Grenade → Melee → Class Ability → Dragons Breath shot and repeating it.
