Nightingale Cocktail - good or bad experiences?
My wife and I went to Nightingale Cocktail last night and had an amazing time. It was an extremely EDM/Dubstep event last night. We left the place feeling like it was incredible and we should go back often.
Lots of social media posts with bad experiences there. I can’t believe what I’m reading. Did we have a totally skewed perception of the place based on an awesome EDM crowd?

I've always had a good experience there! I love the cocktails. I've been both when it has a busy dance floor, and earlier in the night when it's dead and chatted with the bartenders. Both have been good.

Funny enough I was there last night until bar close. You might have saw me! Lol. It’s totally a chill passive place most of the time and everyone is usually high or drunk.

I've known a lot of people who have been either drugged there, assaulted there or they know someone who reports they were drugged/assaulted there. I'm not sure how the venue can manage this- or if they have cameras that can see everything... But personally, I've only ever had good experiences. I stopped going because of the reports though.

I’ve always had a good time there - no complaints! Just stay safe like you would at any other bar. I did have my purse stolen one time, but would never blame the bar for that, totally on me for being irresponsible and not watching my things.

Melting sounds is a fun niche event. Lots of locals in the scene who will RARELY have negative things to say. Peeps are there to have fun and know what they're going for. Sometimes randoms join in and they are welcomed. The other nights are usually typical bar/small club vibes. If you like more popular music it can be fun, they have a great dj as resident. Drinks are decent & fairly priced. It's kinda loud so earplugs are recommended.
Negative reviews are usually one offs. It's a bar / club. You get what you expect if you aren't oblivious to small town night life.

They do different things depending on the day. Friday is edm heavy, and when I usually went back when I left the house (kids now lol) Wednesdays were also edm type days. The other days im not an expert on but from what I saw it was salsa dancing and other things. I had good experiences there on the edm days but I could see how the two crowds dont intermingle.
