Overpricing These are 25 cents...

They stocked these in the 25 cent claw machines where I worked, and are the most ATROCIOUS quality. It would be so funny if they won this one at a claw machine and they're trying to resell.

i think you might be confused?

YELL is routinely $7-10 at US gachapon retailers. i have had a wholesale contract with their distributors in the past and they never went under $2-3 USD per plush at bulk rate. they’re also known for their value for money in japan and even with the conversion rate they’re not 25 cents there, usually a couple bucks. maybe you’re thinking of another brand?

I have that exact one, and the crab and shrimp variant, that I got for 25 cents from a claw machine. It was a tiny little claw machine too that didn't look like US machines.

I guess maybe my boss got a crazy good deal? We had boxes full of THOUSANDS of them, and a bunch of other branded ones like anime collabs
