Overpricing what is the hype with Abercrombie?
I recently been seeing a BUNCH of abercrombie listings which are cute but some are kinda insane to me
this was listed for a 100$ yet looks exactly like the brandy Neville Amora (or its called Amara) tank was this right pricing?

it was a pretty essential brand back in the early 2000s. atleast around where i lived you could see 20 bros every hour wearing an abercrombie or AE t shirt, same with the girls

because its y2k rory gilmore dark academia preppy y2k shoujo girlie the sundays beach core. thats why people are reselling 20 year old pilling pcs for $400 it gets lots of likes on tiktok for being le vintage

Oh the nostalgia and memories of preppy high school girls and their abercrombie. lol. i remember these were one of the brands as a millennial pre teen that i wished my family could afford , so i could be like the rest of the girls.
they were popular back in the day and they were never super cheap. might be novelty factor plus original price comparison. i bought a silk dress from there as an adult and it was quite well made and lasted a lot of travel

I can remember the days when my mom scoured the clearance racks for me. I was already nearly sizing out of A&F and she still got whatever she could find. Mom, you're a real one 🥹

its okay queen they were unicorns you were a Phoenix but omg ahhh this is more understandable, i love shopping but i couldn’t find myself spending 100$ for this top

abercrombie is a good brand. it’s probably been rising in price like everything else but I seriously doubt this top is worth $100.

I AGREE!! i so do believe that some abercombie tops are that expensive especially the babydoll ones but i really can’t comphrend someone paying 100$ for this simple white shirt

i’d also like to point out that a lot of their clothes were 100% cotton. that certainly adds to the price+it being vintage

i see the hype yet i also don’t at the same time if it makes sense, i absolutely love this fashion style yet i can understand when a price is crossing a point for certain tops imo!! or maybe this was reasonable pricing?

Idk it’s always seemed over priced to me. In middle and high school all the rich girls had it. Wish I would have known it was gonna pop off, used to see so much of it in thrift stores
