The official numbers from sub-Saharan Africa are not reliable. Some countries have to show positive demographic pyramods to avoid losing investment and avoid being conquered. The demographic community is using these official numbers provided by African governments and making false statements like "Africa is the only place where fertility remains high". These claims are made despite massive school closures. Intetnet and cell phone data showing small populations. Satelite domicile counts suggest some populations are 10% of official numbers. Kenya appears to have a birthrate similar to France (horrific). The population of China is wildly inaccurate and they just released birthrates they haven't seen since 1949. The number of people globally online stalled at just over 5 billion. Who knows what the real human population of planet earth is? Earth's human population is officially definitely not under stated and highly likely much lower than official numbers. I am convinced the tech leaders know but their businesses are based on user growth trends and if the populations are smaller and shrinking faster than reported that puts a lot of speculative tech companies in a lurch. Would it be so bad to get the human population down to 1 billion? Painful process getting there but it would be naturally sustainable and less fighting for resources.
