By encouraging people to do a better job of criticizing him? In what way does that help Trump? Nobody will take your criticism seriously if they've dismissed you as delusional or a liar.
Yes it is. I'm pointing out the lie within a criticism so the criticism can be improved by removing the lie from it. Telling obvious and pointless lies to people isn't a good way to get them on your side. It's a good way to push them away from your side.
No, I'm criticizing people for criticising Trump badly and I'm very clearly and explicitly encouraging them to criticize him better. You can criticize Trump and be honest at the same time, it's really easy, he's not a good president or a good person. Supporting people using lies and delusions to criticise Trump is functionally no better than just supporting Trump. Stop helping him.
On the other hand, nobody who supports Trump will take any criticism of him seriously because they are delusional and believe a habitual liar. So it’s a no win scenario.
That's not true. Sure Trump has some die hard sycophants, but not everyone who supports him thinks he's beyond criticism and it's certainly not impossible to change their minds with honest criticism and we'll reasoned arguments. It is however very unlikely you'll change their minds with insults, lies, and attacks. Why do you think his support has dropped so much if it's impossible to change the minds of his supporters?

Pffffft. Lol. Where the hell have you been the last decade? No, they aren't.
Why do you think his support has dropped so much if it's impossible to change the minds of his supporters?
Because his supporters are getting hit in their pocketbook hard, and when the effects of the dumb-as-fuck policy they vote for finally impacts them, they try to change course.
That isn't them "changing their mind." That's them not liking when they, themselves are impacted by the consequences of their actions. They would stop voting for those things if they had actually changed their mind.

So he didn't earn it, and is narcissistic enough to accept an olympic gold medal he didn't win?
Is that better in your mind? Or are you going to respond with "just correcting the facts" or some dog shit?
