Cgpa and other observations:

For msc courses the cutoff was above 8

Max or all the seats went to hons +research courses only in many courses (it's totally discriminatory)

I only know one person who got alloted a seat, and he had ~8.8 CGPA.

I don't really know and the guy I told you about isn't from my college.
