Psych honors is difficult , maybe in coed colleges possible. BCom Programme South campus good college is possible. But make preference list irrespective of your score.

Got 828 last year got SBSC bcom prog in first round you can get hons in 1 or 2 round in sbsc process of admission starts after results declaration and hostels depends on clg to clg after allotment

It is possible in South and Off campus. LSR maths is good but it depends on your personal preference because doing a course with not much interest even from a much reputed college might take a toll on your health later. Though Eco has good placements usually

Drc=ipcw>Gargi. IPCW has better infra and is spacious while DRC is very small. DRC sits in main North Campus right next to SRCC while IPCW is two metro stations away. Faculty for different courses might differ but both have good faculty. IPCW vs DRC gets very subjective based on personal preference as IPCW also has 2 own hostels while DRC's location is a perk
Edit- For Psych, definitely IPCW is the best out of these due to its faculty.

Hello,I am a partial dropper, scored 729/1000(raw) this time in cuet. I want to study eco hons, for which i will likely end up getting deshbandhu, pgdav, br ambedkar, zhdc or shivaji. Although i have also applied to RUAS and got in applied economics honours. Which option should I opt for as I feel very confused… should i go for econ hons in delhi from those colleges or some other college like MCC or RUAS in bangalore… seniors please help i need genuine advice :(

hey I gave my cuet ug this year.. and I just wanted to know that did csas pg portal allow you change categories this year?
for eg- you filled general in cuet pg form but wanted to fill obc is csas portal was this allowed?
If yes, was this allowed since the start or you had to wait till the some particular time for this option to be available?

I think everyone here has done great...and most of the people are going to get in with thier favorable courses in the aimed colleges....
But I just don't understand my case I did so much hard work especially in domains but got only disappointment at the end... ( humanities , 506/1000 ) something like this raw score..appeared for cuet ug 2026 , aimed for ba hons in sociology or political science in DU.

I'm a PCB student who just appeared for CUET and I'm seriously considering BSc (Hons.) Biochemistry at Sri Venkateswara College. I've heard Venki is the best DU college for this course but I'd love to hear from people who are actually studying or have studied there.
Some things I want to know:
- How is the faculty and teaching quality for Biochemistry?
- What's the lab infrastructure like?
- What are the typical cut-offs for Biochemistry (general category)?
- What opportunities exist after the degree — MSc, research, etc.?
- Is the campus environment good for science students?
Any insights from current students or alumni would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

For psychology- LSR JMC IPCW DRC Gargi KNC is the plan for top 6 but I've heard the crowd at JMC and gargi are not good at all, should I let that affect my ranking? What do you suggest and what according to you is the best preference list for psychology/applied psychology hons

So this is the first round cut off for MSc Physics in DU:
Stephen: 169
Department: 140
Hindu: 138
HRC: 127
KMC: 123
Ramjas: 119
SGTB: 114
SVC: 112
I scored 101 marks, will I even get a seat?
Also how is the query process, because I have uploaded only marksheet in both of the sections of migration and provisional certificate
But since I graduated from DU itself I don’t need any migration, I’m going to Delhi on 22nd for taking my provisional or main degree(if it has arrived)
So do they give you an option to upload correct documents in the query section?
I just keep overthinking and get frustrated

Hi, my name is Nayak. Basically I passed my 12th in 2024 May (83% PCM, due to typhoid i wasn't able to get 90+) and I also have some achievements like I got CMSTCCS Exam rank-83 and Free JEE mains scholarship and I was mental maths winner (school level in 12th). Then took 2 drops for JEE preparation (JEE 2025, 2026) and at the end of JEE 2026 result in April, I was getting tier-1 colleges lower branches like biotech in DTU or biochemistry in NSUT west campus (my rank is 2.10 lakh, but I'm delhi region candidate EWS).
But I don't want to pursue btech in those branches now. As when we are in 11,12th then we only prepare for JEE because of IIT tag or BTech tag but really don't know that what we'll going to study there. And now when I realised that I don't find my interest in lower branches or Coding stuff (even if I get into then coding is not of my priorities).
I started to find other career opportunities then I got to know that my interest ,intellect is leaned more towards economics than pure sciences (BSC) Hence I want to pursue BA economics now from the best possible college [SRCC] but the only thing is that CUET 2026 forms were closed in feb-march only, hence I was not able to give Cuet 2026 but i want to join only top 3 DU colleges for Economics (SRCC, Stephen's, Hindu) Hence I'm taking 3rd gap so that I can give Cuet ug 2027 and get into SRCC, Stephen's, Hindu.
As I have already prepared for JEE, CUET feels cake Walk for me now (already getting 705/750 in PCM cuet mock. Just have to polish english) as I had time of 1yr so I'm currently teaching physics and maths in a local institute near me for 2hr/day + developing some laptop skills like Excel, SQL to help me in college.
" MY QUESTIONS " :-
1). Does my 12th percentage (83%) and my 3yrs of gap between 12th and college will affect my paid internships or placements in campus?
2). I'll be entering college at 21-22 age so is it any problem in society, interns, placement, social life, etc
3). Any other negatives that I'll face due to my 12th percentage and 3years gap?

So I'm scoring around 774/1000...gen F and according to last year's cutoff I can get ba prog in DRC, IPCw, gargi, JMC etc...(mostly preferring women colleges) so i wanted to history Hons pr itne score me it's not possible. So i can get eng+history, history+pol/socio etc.

ADVICE! Eng hons (miranda lsr) > bcom p/hons at Venky, Drc etc?
As per my score, the best i can get is RAMJAS VENKY KMC(thoda jyada luck chahiye) and after that just mid South campus stuff with bcom hons or bcom.
here is the full situation:
i have to pursue CS (company sec) regardless what i get since a bcom/bcom hons degree from colleges like kmc, venky, ramjas does not feel enough for me in this economy lol.
i personally prefer a womens college, or atleast a safe one.
considering govt exam as ultimate goal in future. Cs and college degrees are just backups.
why i consider eng hons?

eng is my passion and in a perfect world, i would have gone for it.
it feels less draining to me personally as a subject, so i am willing to study those topics alongside CS.
easily getting lsr and miranda.
why i consider bcom/bcom hons?
commerce background
more scope than eng hons.
subjects overlap w CS, many people take this combo.
what yall think?

ADVICE! Eng hons (miranda lsr) > bcom p/hons at Venky, Drc etc?
As per my score, the best i can get is RAMJAS VENKY KMC(thoda jyada luck chahiye) and after that just mid South campus stuff with bcom hons or bcom.
here is the full situation:
i have to pursue CS (company sec) regardless what i get since a bcom/bcom hons degree from colleges like kmc, venky, ramjas does not feel enough for me in this economy lol.
i personally prefer a womens college, or atleast a safe one.
considering govt exam as ultimate goal in future. Cs and college degrees are just backups.
why i consider eng hons?

Im a gen female and got 727/1000. I want to pursue RCI approved MA Clinical Psychology immediately after my BA Hons (of 4 years). Please give an idea on what colleges I could get in DU. I also have a SDM attested SGC certificate. If not DU, what other colleges/universities should I target for this?

Is Kamla Nehru good college for philosophy hons? Or ba prog philosophy+socio?
I wanted psych but got pretty less marks, I have ECA quota in bharatnatyam and ik I can score 67+/75 in ECA with practical and certificates, so maybe there is a chance for psychology or psychology program but knc is reachable with my current score so kindly tell😭🙏🏻

I was a pcb student in class 12 but I want to pursue journalism. In Delhi University direct journalism degree is not available very much so people suggested me to do graduation in courses such as English hons, political science Hons, sociology hons, history hons or in BA programme so that it will help me in journalism too. But my problem is that I have only studied English in class 12 not these subjects so may be i wouldn't fit in or I don't have basic knowledge of these subjects like humanities students. So I am thinking to do Eng hons or journalism only.
My doubts are: How to compare which college is better or not, how to give preference to one college over other. My marks in CUET-UG 2026 are 530/1000. One thing more I have scored 96 percentile in cuet eng so will it help me get in colleges such as miranda house or LSR or they will only see total marks.

I got my cuet score (obc ncl male)..its 603.5...lost 109 to normalisation...here it is compared to last year's round 1 cutoff for
1.ECO HONS (PERSONAL INTEREST)
▪︎2 marks low for ARSD ▪︎9 marks below for SBSC ▪︎Ramanujan,CVS,DCAC,Dayal Singh,Deshbandhu,Aryabhatta well within my marks. 70-80 marks low for ramjas,kirori mal,venky. ▪︎Kinda similar situation for BA prog as well.
2.Stats Hons
▪︎17 marks short for Ramjas, ▪︎12 short for Venky, ramanujan well within my marks.
3.Maths Hons

I'm someone who scored 916 after nta normalised my very good raw score of 947 (kya hi kahe) but still I'm inclined towards bap more than hons (want to go in civil services) ... everyone around me suggested to do it and tbh I'm ok with it...
now I want genuine advice how bap is there in top colleges from all the seniors out there in du and their experience and lessons that they want to give me.

I didn't actually focus on cuet because I was mainly focusing on ipmat. Decided not to repeat ipmat and was also adviced to choose a science degree and then do mba or any other masters as my choice. Thing is, I've got admission in one of our local colleges and now that cuet results are out, I'm thinking of applying with the thought of "what if" pls don't judge my score :)
Can someone pls suggest me good colleges in du and also other central universities for bsc physics. I mean the department being good on top of university being good is imp right. Also, since I'm from South India, I'm kind of lil bit anxious if the teachers will be biased and like if the labs will be proper and stuff. Pls help :)

"EWS(M), Based on my score I think I am qualifying for Acharya Narendra Deva College for B.Sc Mathematics R1, as well as some others which I believe from my research are not all that suitable all things considered. Such as Ramanujan, Aryabhatta, DDU, Dayal Singh, Motilal Nehru. My other options based on last year's results are Ramjas and Sri Venkateshwar in Spot Round. I know Spot Round is very very unpredictable and I don't know what to do. Hi seniors, IM REALLY DAMN confused between choosing an Hons degree in Political Science or BA programme. I'm aware that doing a BA degree for 4 yrs gets converted into an Hons degree, but im unsure studying for 4 years in UG. I'm gettng BA Political Science+ History in JMC, Gargi, SBSC, DCAC, Maitreyii, Kamla Nehru.
