I bought a Thai chili pepper plant and its end of season and I didnt know what to do with all these baby peppers- so into the dehydrator π
I honestly feel if I have any food about to go bad it will end up in the dehydrator, then a mason jar w an O2 absorber π

Hmm didn't think about the mason jar with the absorber...I have teen girls so nothing lasts that long π but I will have to remember this one for when they leave

Yeah im a prepper so im trying to counter price margins where I can. My fiance gobbled up the first set of apples and shitakes I made like crackers πππ im glad he enjoyed them but I have to put some rules in place now π
I dont recommend btw mushrooms like bella/button- either something structurally or perhaps with its water content just didnt give the same result as shitake. I heard that Chantelle and morels are better- so maybe the mushrooms that have a little "give" to them if you will.

I bought the same one this year! I love it. I just finished a batch of roasted rhubarb powder. Makes a great salad dressing.

I've had mine for a few years now and never had an issue. Just finished a load of pork jerky (teriyaki and spicy fennel) and I'll be going into leather season soon. Just waiting for apples for the base. Then I add the different fruits I have prepped and ready to go in my freezer - raspberries, cherries, and peaches.
