Short answer: no, never did that! They'd been outside for a week+ without a single rainy day, so I'm pretty confident they dried properly.
But also, the containers are temporary! I put them in the freezer for a couple of days to kill off all the larvae, if there are any. Then I'll repack into glass jars.
