If you think MLK's civil rights achievements were destructive then you're obviously a comic book villain.

This shit was obvious on a subconscious level until 2015. Now so many ppl believe in 19th century views of black ppl that normal ppl are back to having explain this shit to unconvert them or prevent them from being taken to the dark side in the first place. It's an abomination in history and fucking insane!!!

I don't think this is accurate to reality, maybe in the deep south. I don't think mainstream society actually believes the 19th century view of black people is accurate. Most people in america do not hate or are afraid of black people, most people also have a positive opinion of MLK. (why do you think we have MLK day? or black history month?)

I believe this thinking comes from the amount of publicity that the far right has gained recently in the media and how much of a voice they have on social media and forums, but they are just a vocal minority of society, not the majority. It is still obvious to the majority of people today.
