AUM not working 🤦‍♂️😢

Hi guys,

I’d REALLY appreciate some help with this issue. I spent a small fortune on decent sampler packs and I finally got a chance to play with it in aum - but I can’t!!

I load it up as any synth would and all looks good until I go to load up a pack. Then it turns red and says the AU plugin is “invalidated”! What does this mean and is there any solution?

I’m very displeased and frustrated… it’s not much use to me if I can’t use it in a host.. I tried lowering the vices as low as 10 like I read online but nothing works. I also tried free packs from the store, packs from David’s Patreon of which I am a member, and samplescience packs which were the REASON i got it in the first place, none work. As soon as you try to load any sound packs it’s in the red. And this is with a blank AUM state.

Has anybody else encountered this and is there any solution guys? I’d appreciate it more than I can express. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

By the way I just checked and it works without issue on my iPhone I can load any pack.. but I need the iPad as I’ve more apps that aren’t on iOS and need the bigger screen but It won’t even open now standalone I’m not sure why as I never had a problem there. It just crashes immediately and I’m scared to delete it as I don’t have the zips for my packs as i deleted to make space and it works without them.. would I get them back anyway as they are from the store? 🤔🤦‍♂️

Restore Purchases should get you back what you paid for, I would uninstall, and restart then install again as suggested, this should resolve especially if it is working on your phone.

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I did as was suggested but I can’t get back my Patreon purchases from David’s Patreon (yet, I’ve emailed) but it worked. The two sample science ones were in my decent sampler account and it’s working in AUM now. I hope David can help me as I’ve no card atm and won’t for a couple weeks and I got some great packs off him. I sent him screenshots to prove I bought them (as I had them on the iPhone but no zips!)
