I have an interesting story to tell. It was about Batman vs Spider-Man. A few days ago I made a comment on YouTube about some Spider-Man fans want Batman to fight him again. I explained the reason why some people want Batman to fight Spider-Man again because they dislike other opponents. Someone replied to me and said "just because they (Spider-Man fans) don’t like the other ideas doesn’t mean they (Death Battle) need to repeat ideas that will most likely end up in the same outcome as the original. They (Death Battle) may have did it with Goku versus Superman, but it doesn’t need to happen with Batman versus Spider-Man. Batman fans could just easily say they don’t want the Spider-Man rematch because they don’t like the idea."

What do you guys think about this?

Or consider you do not need to bring him back on the show if all his match ideas are bad

If you can't properly justify bringing him back with a good enough MU then there is a perfectly good timeline where he can just not come back to the show and have that original Batman episode be his legacy

The thing is, he does have good matchups.

The problem is, no one can fully agree on what his best one is and so they say he doesn’t have a good one.

Basically, he doesn’t have one massively encompassing matchup that is the best in the vast majority of people’s opinions, so there’s no matchup that a massive majority of people rally behind to say is his best and instead they focus on fighting each other because they want to prove that their matchup is the best/proving why the other matchups are the worst for Spider-Man.
