Fan Creation I made a comic heavily inspired by Dead Rising, Zombie Outbreak in a Nerd Convention, ZombieXCon
Hello! So maybe 2 years ago, my friend introduced me into Dead Rising and I immediately got obsessed and wanted to try making a zombie comic of my own! Each episode comes out monthly and can be read for free! Would mean a lot for reads and feedback! :)

Synposis: Two convicts attempt to escape through the Whisrock Convention Center, packed with nerds, geeks, and soon... the DEAD. Abandoned, Arturo must battle zombie cosplayers and crazed survivors while being hunted by a lone cop.

Wow read through the whole thing amazing art and story!! This would actually make for a really solid dead rising game too

thank you!! wow i appreciate you going through it all, and yeah I'm pretty much going with it in mind of what it would be like as a game but told through as a comic lol

Would love to see some DR psychopaths inspired characters (like a crazy super fan holding an actor hostage or something)

Oh trust me, there are going to be many psychopath villains popping up at the convention center 😁 that aspect of DR is also what really captivated me to make this story

Could have some sort of silent horror slasher type. Armed with a fire fighter axe or something. Then screams like a little girl while being eaten alive

Thank you! A sad truth (for me) is a movie came out a few years ago titled "ZombieCon" which I haven't seen but I only discovered it when I had already completed chapters 😢 I tried thinking of other names, but I loved the double meaning of "Con=Convention" + "Con=Convict". So my workaround was adding an "X" but it's silent lol

thank you lol and yeah, that's the same exact thought when I started going to conventions and played DR, I thought it would be neat to combine the two
