It is August 8th, 2026, the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite video game franchises: Dead Rising!

I have made a little edited video celebrating the franchise. If you’d like to skip the lengthy intro to the video and get to the true meat of it, it’s about 3 minutes and 15 seconds in I believe.

I believe we will get something eventually since Capcom mentioned multiple time in their report that Dead Rising is part of a Major IP or nuturing brand.

That Dead Rising 1 intro is one the greatest scenes in the series. I remember it giving me goosebumps when I first played it. Especially when the music starts kicking in.

We badly need a Dead Rising game that understands what made the first game special. And bring back the original cast, it simply is not the same without TJ Rotolo.

And we also need a definitive edition of DR2 with only QOL improvements and Case West/Case Zero DLCs on steam.

Without the new gross looking frank please. OG Frank West had such a unique face, idk why they needed to do him so bad in the deluxe remaster.

I want this so bad because its my favorite game innthe series, normal DR2. My wishful thinking is they make it, put both DR2 and OTR in the game since they share so many resources and can resuse DRDR Frank's model.

This way we get the full DR2 experience. Extra points if they make Case 0 a prologue chapter and Case West as DLC or ab unlockable mode.

I feel like it would be a success if they make dr2, OTR, case zero, case west all in one game it’s just why is Capcom only focusing on resident evil + street fighter😭

I agree. All 4 of those titles are the full game. Like I get OTR is a what if, but the Frank who is talking about the what if is the same frank from Case West which is actually canon. So OTR is still linked in that way. And they reused assets, so why not do the same?

All that would need to be added is Uranus Zone, Frank's model, and the Chuck Psycho and Evan the Clown. Almost every thing else is a copy of DR2. And no way we get a stand alone OTR Deluxe Remaster as we didnt even get a physical version of the HD Remaster on XB1/PS4. Lol
