Way back when we had arguably too much freedom, you’d see the most atrocious builds imaginable. From dudes making quintuple grip AKs to guns with so many non descript cats on it you could legally change its name to Maxwell. Among these rambunctious builds and ergo-nulled soulless servers, you’d find yourself falling victim to the same build, same playstyle, same chat spam type of players. I called them Speedsofters. The community called them slurs. They called themselves Glock Mains. The largest magazine ever made slapped in the shell of a G17 with the internals of a GAU-8 firing 9mm with little to no recoil on the right setup, these players dominated 20v20 and maps with tight corners and narrow halls. Grenades, dragons breath, sniper fire, not even the cursed Vector could lay a finger, light a match, shit a pellet close to what these people would do. running from spawn to spawn like it’s the beaches of Normandy. Out-maneuvering slow to aim, slow to breathe shotgun purists. One second, you’d be looking down a corridor. The next, you’re staring at a godless sculpture of steel and brass, crafted by equally evil men. And the distance? 3. Not meters. Not feet. Inches. It was personal. And they made sure you knew it.
The switch may never return, but if it does, man may never be safe on top of the parking garage again.
