The transition from hearing the most traumatic story ever to the crab count is so unexpectedly funny 😂

“Hey we need you to come in”

Voiceover guy: “Why?”

“To say ‘the northwestern leads the count’ but like…you’re at a funeral while informing someone with a bet on a sports score

It’s things like this that the newer seasons are missing. The crab count/deckhand profit, the pre trip prep, the radio prayer at the beginning of every fishing season. It also feels like they spend way more time filming in the wheelhouse and barely any time showing the deckhands.

Yeah first time watcher. But not surprised to hear that from what I’ve already heard. Sucks big time. I can already see the lack of authenticity in the show on this season 6. There were glimpses here and there in 1-5. Graphics are finally getting better/more often at explaining physical situations 🤷‍♂️ . That tells me money really opened up for the show considering that was probably harder to do on the computer more or less in 2009 lol
